Of our five kids three are girls and I can say that it really is impossible to say no to one of them. At least twenty years ago the oldest told me she wanted a Parker, I gave her two. One day she came by the house while I was inspecting a Remington model 24, 22 auto, the one built on the Browning patent, complete with Lyman tang peep sight. I told her I had always wanted one and had just bought it at a very good price. "She said I want it". It went home with her. I have also built her on Mauser actions a 7x57 and a 35 Whelen because she wanted them. What can I say. The other girls aren't so interested in guns and hunting but they have asked for and been give other things. The boys and two son-in-laws are just waiting for the old man to pass so they can divide up the rest. I guess I wouldn't want it any different.
