Jerry, it's probably a Canadian import, imported by a Washington company. Morphy's (formerly Julias) has been using this company to bring guns in from the Great White North. Borderview I think is the company name, explaining the "BV" mark. The markings are the neatest and least intrusive import marks I have ever seen. The marking is mandatory for imported guns.
