Well Dean, I sure do like the Beretta Gel Pads but they are not easy to take off. My fingers and thumbs tell me that. They are amazing and they don't leave any residue on the wood. Just make sure your finish is sound.

Here is a comb riser I used on my 3" or more hammer guns. The great thing about them is it adds very little to the side of the stock so your face isn't far away from the side of the stock. It's held in place by double sided sticky tape and you can also attach a strap through the cutouts on the riser. I had a real problem taking mine off, that tape is really on there firm. I used 50lb fising ling and kinda like sawed through the tape. Worked like a charm and didn't harm the finish. Good if you have a large drop on the comb of the stock.
