Well, technically the 30th was the opener, but I finally made it out for the first hunt today. My labs managed to flush several but only one offered a shot. Luckily, one shot was all that was needed. Come to think of it, that was the first and only shot I've fired out of this restored PH grade 12 gauge. Those falcon lite RSTs did the trick, and with minimal pressure and no recoil. A perfect early season grouse load.
