Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

It started with the Safety doesn't work......./
I found myself talking to dealer at a show who had some outstanding elk stag grips I thought my set of Rugers should wear - one thing lead to another and the topic of Parkers, etc came up. He had a gun, from another dealer that the safety didn't work on, and it needed parts, the safety stirrup and likely the push pin.
But he didn't have the gun with him. I volunteered I could make those, and a trade was struck.
So a week later at the next show he had the gun, which I took apart having my tools with me. The parts were all there, but the stock clearly was not!
So plan B, we repair the stock and attempt to dress it up a bit. The barrels had been cut by about 1 1/4", Butt toe repaired and the plate was broken repaired. As it was viewed as a shooter, we were asked to just fix the break and checker the butt, which someone had done a pocket knife job on.
After glassing in the plug, and inletting to the action, and removing the screw and plugging the holes
The stock was checkered and refinished.
What I plan on doing more of once retired.
