Default Typical butt pad on a SC ?

I have a SC built in the mid 1920's with a Jenkins pad. What would have likely been the original factory pad ? This gun falls in a missing stockbook serial number range but has a Remington code stamp of 1951. Could there be any information on the repairs ?

Are these single barrel trap guns usually shot with the beads lined up, stacked, gapped ???

Thanks,
Kurt
