her first squirl
daisey and me went squirl hunting at 12.00 today..for our shooting piece we chose the little gh 20 ga...for one reason we chose it cause it dont weigh much 5 1/2 lbs..carrys and points well this is the little 20 that russ jackson put together and fixed up..its the finest looking gun ive got...well today the little 20 got her first squirl since shes been in my charge..we was usingfederal lite loads in 2 1/2 dram and 7/8 ounce of 7 1/2 lead fine for squirls in short timber...we hunted 1 1/2 hours and treed only 2 but i was about give out from climbing them steep hills so we called it a day.. i know i shoulda took some pictures maybe next time... charlie

I sould get out and hunt some tree rats, thanks for reminding me about them. Our season goes till the first of March I think. It would be good to get the Kimber .22 out of the closet and into the woods again.
