Default Wm. Cody/Johnny Baker Presentation Gun

Several years back in 2009 when Charlie and I went to the Denver show to help the local group get started, we set up at the Colorado Gun Show. While mostly a rifle show in keeping with western hunting, there was a goodly number of attractive shot guns, including a few Parkers.

A gun we both looked at was a BH 12 ga in this case. While the gun was well used and neglected, it was intact and could be rescued and turned into something that would attract attention. We passed on the gun and have had second thoughts once in a while. Wonder what happened to this one:

Unless the gun lettered I'd have run away from something like that. Gun shows are overflowing with faked up Wild West Show memorabilia these days. It's becoming like the Wells Fargo stage coach guns.
