Default PGCA North-South shoot off

The North-South or Blue -Gray shoot-off will be Sun Oct 27th at 10 AM!!! When you register for the Parker Champion Shoot you will be asked if you are sympathetic to the Blue or Gray. The top five shooters in each will shoot as a team against the other for the honor of their region. The high shooter on the low score team may challenge the high shooter of the winning team to a one on one shutoff,if so desired. Us Southern boys have been practicing!!

I'm sympathetic to the South (because underdogs need sympathy ) but I'll be shootin' for the North.

There may not be many Yankees there if it's held on Sunday at 10am. It's a long way from SC to Pa. Sunday's a travel day, the wife has to earn some money on Monday

I also don't understand the Events Schedule. It talks about a Parker/Smith challenge and a Parker/Smith Trap challenge. What's that all about?

I don't know anything about the Parker/Smith challenge or the Trap challenge.
Tom Carter was involved in those events so hopefully he will respond. The "main event"for the Fall Southern SXS,not the Parker shoot, is a 150 target shoot-75 on Sat and 75 on a different course on Sunday. We had to schedule the Blue-Gray for Sun AM as the teams are selected by your score on the 75 bird course shot Sat. We will not have the scores and teams until Sun AM. I can move it earlier if that would help?

Rick Hemmingway established the Parker/Smith events. I'm not sure how they are going to take place. Knowing Rick I'm sure it will be fun and challenging. Cheers, Tom
