Quail getter!!
I finally got a chance to take out my 16ga lifter for the first time and she's a quail gun. The morning started out with London type fog and no sun. By about 9am is was clear enough to start the hunt but everything was soaking wet. My boy had to work over time but considering the conditions I say he did great. Out of 15 birds released he found 11 and I harvested 10. Now I can't wait for next weekend.
On the last picture you could see that critter from 20 yards away.
