Craig;
Don't despair, after 40 some years of Parkeritis I discovered those guns from Philadelphia and I realized that there is room in my heart for another fine American made double. Look at what happened to Frank. I have'nt seen anyone giving him any grief about his Parker. Really nice D grade. A lot of gun for the money. Enjoy. |

Craig, what are the dimensions? Being a straight grip with those chokes I am guessing it would be a wonderful gun for shooting trap.

Pete: The stock is 14 1/2", 1 1/2"DAC, 2 3/4"DAH, the wear on the guns indicates a waterfowler to me. The blue is gone on the barrel where your left hand sits and the blue is 25% gone from the sides on the barrels--the top and bottom of the barrels have most of the original blue. The skeleton butt shows rust like it sat in the wet of a duck blind. The trigger guard has strong original blue where it normally wears to bright if the gun was carried in the uplands. These wear patterns indicate a gun that spent time in a duck blind. Wish these old gals could talk this gun has plenty of work experience. I shot her today and was extremely pleased, I really like the feel of a #2 frame 30" 12ga Parker. I used the 3/4oz shells many here suggest and they work great. Can't wait to drop a few mallards with her. She is no beauty queen here are a few more pictures

I have it's older brother from 1909. DHE Str. Grp, 30" 2 frame, .036/.038, 14 3/8", 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". Wonderful trap gun for me with 7/8 ounce 8's. You have a very nice gun thanks for sharing.

Craig, there is a big difference between a Beauty Queen and a Safe Queen. Yours is no Safe Queen but there's no doubt that she is a Beauty Queen with age and experience. |
