Default Nice Weekend at Chantilly, VA Show

We had Roger Bain, Chuck Brunner, Kevin and Tom McCormack, Monty Whitley, Tony Makris, Bill Murphy, John Allgood, Mike Cairns, Phillip Futrell, James Jay Baker, Jon Swindle, David and Britton Condon, and many others. Some really nice Parkers were bought and sold. To our dismay, there is another Chantilly show next month because of a scheduling snafu. Y'all come.

How is Chantilly pronounced, please, should I ever get a chance to attend?

Bill did you get a look at the DH 28 gauge Mr. Brunner has for sale?

I'm not Bill, but if you go to page 28 of general discussion threads (March 18) and look down to a thread titled "DH 28 ga." you will find a discussion of the gun in question, I think it's the same gun Brunner has. I don't have enough computer knowhow to put up the link.

Chuck only occasionally sets up any guns at the show. He was there to visit and to pick up an outrageous CHE skeet configured 16 gauge in high condition. He did not bring any guns. His home is just a few miles from the show in case anyone wanted to go on a buying spree.

Sunday was the day to be there: With the beautiful weather all weekend, a lot of the tire-kickers came back with cash late Sunday and ran wild. One dealer sold 7 guns in 25 minutes around 3:30PM Sunday, after sitting all evening Fri. and all day Sat. Our bunch sold 5 guns and 2 cases after a similar dry spell. Love the late last-day hitters; makes loading up the truck to go home a lot more smiley.
