Pudlepointers are interesting dogs. A guy over the hill from me has always had them. He does hunt them but only on game preserves. I like their looks, rugged but friendly. But at this point doubt I'll ever have anything but setters.

He was extremely easy to train...I really just let him do what he was made to do. Only thing i worked on was making sure he works back to a whistle, which he picked up quickly.
Woodcock have been tough to come by this year. The 28ga is a cheap Davidson, nothing fancy but I love it. IMG_0399.jpg |
