Yep, black cap.
There was testing done over on 16ga.com with GreenDot. Some time back, Alliant introduced a new "cleaner burning" version of Green Dot that was packaged with a "green" cap as opposed to the prior "black" cap packaging and older formulation. The testing was done comparing the older version of Green Dot and the new "cleaner burning" Green Dot powder. The pressures recorded showed the new Green Dot powder produced higher pressures for like recipes. Further info can be obtained over on 16ga.com. I mentioned that my loads were tested with the older black cap version of Green Dot in case there is a pressure difference. I thought it was prudent to provide the caveat. |
