I was glad I had this bird mounted. Was fortunate to get him on a South Dakota hunt with Bruce Day and friends several years ago.

The taxidermist sent this pic. I should have the mount in early January. I shot both birds one afternoon in November last year.

Thanks for those pics Brett! Prairie chicken and sage grouse are my two bucket list birds. I'd love to have a fine specimen of each mounted for our lodge.
