Boys and pheasants
My oldest son was home on pre-deployment leave last week so I took the opportunity to take both boys pheasant hunting. Very windy day but Shotzie, the 4 year old German Shorthair worked her tail off and managed to find us a few. The boys did well with the Parkers, 16 ga. GH and VH. I was paying tribute to one of my Dads favorite legacy gunmakers. That Model B came out of the Stevens plant in Chicopee Falls in 1957. But the Parker seed’s been planted and has taken hold. Long may it run.

Garth, that is fantastic! Tell your son thanks for serving. I greatly appreciate the shells from last year. We just picked up a shorthair pup yesterday for my son who is 14 and a Parker fan, it fact he killed his first dove last year with a shell from one of the boxes you gave me in the 20ga VH. Quail season is fast approaching and my dog just this morning pointed a covey in our rail yard. November 15th can't get here fast enough. Take care.
