Default Help a new member

Hi folks, I am new here, having just purchased my first Parker at auction. Only the second I have seen for sale in 40 years. The first I could not afford, this one had my name on it. The gun is numbered 02154. I found it was made in 1874. It is a Lifter in very good shape. I have many questions, but first I want to submit photos. Now how much cleaning may I do without altering condition? Then come pics. Thanks Mark

Mark, there will be a number of folks here anxious to see your photos. Also, there are knowledgeable members in MI that may be close to you.

Welcome!

Welcome Mark. You may want to post some good pics first so our membership can make some recommendations.

If you post enough pictures these fine folks will give you a level and volume of information you will not believe. Clear close ups of every area of the gun, especially areas that have any numbers, letters or other markings will open the flow of information. Should be a 12 gauge Lifter Grade DS with 28" barrels and 0 extras.
