Default Single Trigger

I confess that I know nothing about single triggers. So, what type/make of single trigger is this? Is it reliable? Can this be converted to double triggers? Just generally curious.

Doesn't look like a Parker single trigger?. Conversion to a double? I can't help you with that. Nice gun though.

John I’ll have three guns with me at Hausemanns that left the factory with SST’s . A vent rib trap and two skeet guns you’re welcome to try any or all of them to see if you care for the triggers . They’re not for sale but you’re welcome to try them if you like

Didn’t see any markings on the other side either.

That is the lay out of the Parker SST, trigger in the righthand slot and selector in the lefthand slot, but that is not the normal Parker thumbpiece on the selector.

I don't have any experience with Parker SSTs, but I have a 16-gauge Fox-Sterlingworth Skeet & Upland Game Gun that had a problematic Fox-Kautzky SST. Worked fine as long as it was selected right/left. Not so if selected left/right. Maybe I should have left it selected right/left, but for $300 Keith Kearcher made it double trigger.

Looks just like the Kautzky trigger that was in my DHE. I had terrible trouble with it doubling once I moved the selector back and forth. It now wears a double trigger...

The Fox-Kautzky SST has the trigger in the lefthand slot and the selector in the righthand slot --

Joseph Kautzky was fitting single triggers to guns at his Iowa shop long before the 1914 introduction of his trigger on Ansley H. Fox doubles.

I seriously doubt that. More like convert the single to a double. The only guns I like a single trigger on are my SBT’s. But that’s why they make chocolate and vanilla.

No thanks. Being In the middle of a tournament and running the first 6 stations and all of a sudden having 2 oz go off isn't fun at all. I've never had trouble with a double trigger.
