I agree with that. There are honestly very few shops that can do all the work at the very top level. I own guns I have purchased that are documented as done by one highly rated shop, and another that is completely documented as done by a different stockmaker, barrel guy, case color shop and engraver. All at the top level of reputation. I suspect that a lot of time, though, an owner shops it out and goes to one top guy and two or three average Joes. Guess who will be quoted in the ad?

Well, I wrote the seller and asked the following:
Hello, do you have any documentation that this restoration was done by DelGrego? I have only known them to work on Parker Guns and the Remington Model 32. Thanks in advance for any information.
And here is his reply:
Hi Alfred,
It’s assumed that the restoration was done by delGrego because of the colors. Honestly, I’ve no proof of this… it is very very good work. I will be changing the description to read this way… thank you
