This looks like the wood that I have on my 12 CHE
very dark compared to most guns I have seen..

That's a nice piece of wood david. Remington was known for putting nicer wood on the lower grades than Parker Bros. did.

Good golly!!!!!! As a stockmaker, it would make me nervous to chuck that up in my duplicator! I think I'd do that one the old way, completely by hand. Jerry
