Default Recent Small LC Smith Patch Sales.....

Guys I have some potential bad news.

Anybody who sent payment for the recent sale of the SMALL LC Smith patch, please check your bank accounts. We've apparently had some mail stolen recently here at my office. I've had reports of a check that was sent here (not for one of the patches) that had been altered and attempted to be cashed by parties unknown. I've gotten several payments in and already shipped some patches, I've got several more packaged and ready to go out. So hopefully nobody who bought one will have trouble but I wanted to give a heads up to anybody who had sent payment just in case.

It's nobody from our company, it's only the boss and I these days, so somebody must be trolling our mailbox. I'll be contacting the post office on Monday, for all the good it might do.

We're a mail order business so we still get quite a few payments by check, not just for stuff I'm doing.

We had this happen about six months ago, I helped the gentleman clear up the problem personally. But theyd tried to cash the check hundreds of miles from here. We never dreamed it was stolen directly from us, we assumed it had been snagged out of the USPS system, but apparently it was.

We've been at this location for over 15 years and never had a bit of trouble. It's in an industrial area on the outskirts of town so our mailbox is out on the road obviously, but it's a good neighborhood that never has anything like this going on. That's why I take the payments here, because it seemed the most secure due to our solid mail route.

If anybody does have trouble I'll be happy to help in any way I can. Please message me privately and let me know.

The check from six months ago was altered so poorly it was like a child did it, so I'd think any decent bank would catch it. But it still could create a problem clearly. I haven't seen the most recent one yet, but I'm assuming it was the same party. Neither one of these parties got scammed, neither lost any money, but it's still scary none the less.

If anybody has trouble I'll be filling your order for however many patches you wanted for free just to make it less painful.

Obviously this is high stress for me, I'm praying nobody has a problem. I'll be getting a PO Box ASAP and won't take anymore checks till I can guarantee the safety of the payments.

I've got payments in hand from:

David Olshansky

I've also already shipped three other orders who's names I unfortunately didn't write down.

Our mail comes around 3pm every day, I'll be watching for the mail lady like a hawk the next few days.
