That's what I am thinking to Reggie. Gonna have to find a 2 barrel case that will hold those 34's which might be a little tricky.

I find it’s helpful to buy another gun while waiting. It makes the time go more quickly.

Great decision Randy, beautiful stock blank! Can't wait for the unveiling of the finished product. Congratulations that's awesome and a special Parker.

Thank goodness we're not neighbors Garry. With like minds it could be financially devastating for both of us.

My wife got a big kick out of your post, but she couldn't imagine things getting much worse (or better, depending how you look at it)

Please don't tell her I wrote this

PS Waiting for a gun is a skill I've been working on for quite some time. Not much progress so far.

Advice given to me (by a gun dealer) was to throw the box on the couch and say "what's for lunch?"

I’ve been at this for a good fifty years and I still can’t do that Although if I’m hungry I’ll get it out quick look and then devour lunch .

I still like Gene Hill's method best...

He leaves the house with a (empty) battered old gun case telling his wife he's going to take it to a good buddy who knows more about these relics and find out if it's worth anything.

He returns with the new gun in the case and says his buddy told him it's worthless and he ought to scrap it someday.

Any progress report on this little long legged beauty?
