I have a 6-10 1 frame 12 ga with 26" barrels. The MWT is .031 and .032. So, light weight 12s do not necessarily translate to thin barrel walls.

Yours is certainly a nice light weight 12 and would suit me except for the stock dimensions.

Those early graded hammerless guns were made to a bit of a higher standard in my view. That's a stunner.

Beautiful early "D"! I love the wood, and the engraving is stunning! And the Damascus, just a beautiful gun.
Should make a good quail/dove gun.
