Default TC's Barrels

I want to thank everyone who took the time to evaluate my barrels and give suggestions to Reggie at the Vintagers. I wish I could have seen them myself. Reggie is taking the barrels back to Kansas City to incorporate the changes you folks suggested. As you all know, it takes time to get the bugs out when a new product comes on the market. They may be ready for the Fall Classic but I told him not to rush them. Thanks again. Cheers, Tom

Hi Robin, Thanks for the reply. I understand the dolls head did not fit properly and the rib had an issue near the breach. Also, the barrels may be a few ounces heavy and needs some metal removed either through back boring slightly or perhaps draw filing, or both. Thanks, Tom

Tom - I spoke with Reggy quite a while Saturday about my project and got a chance to look at yours. He understands what needs to be done and I have faith that Simmons will perform. It goes to show that a set of Parker barrels can't be duplicated entirely by CNC and handwork is a necessity to make it right.
