Default NYD Shoot CANCELLED - Major Waldron's

The weather we are experiencing and the forecast for wind chills below zero all day on 1/1/18 is not going to make for a very enjoyable day of shooting. It is unfortunate this terrible cold snap has come at this time as it has always been a fun way to celebrate the start of the new year. Please let anyone you know who was thinking of attending. Let's hope for better weather at the start of 2019.

Thanks Pete. I was on the fence given the wind chill factor. Maybe I can sleep in now. (If she'll let me) LOL

We 'participants' are feeling our age but these temps and strong winds are REALLY getting old.

Shot Sat. 12 F wore my field goose hunting rig, it was good for me but the other guys were not happy. No wind light snow falling. At 0 with wind it would be an exercise in fool determination.
