I think that would have been one fun auction to attend. I wanna know when/if they sell Sky King's Piper Apache!

I wonder what became of all those other B-Western movie stars outfits? Gene Autry, Randolph Scott, Lash LaRue, Smiley Burnett, Gabby Hayes, Monty Hale, Tex Ritter, et al. I saw where some of The Duke's guns sold at auction a couple years ago.

Just Wondering.....George

Here in Ashland, we have a Dale-Roy School for challanged children and young adults. It is one of our proudest institutions. I am sure that there are many other young people and communities who have benefited from that couple.

Mark: My Mom worked with Randolph Scott in Columbia, South Carolina back in the 1920-&early 1930's at The Southern Railroad Offices before he became a movie star. He was my favorite cowboy growing up when the Saturday Morning movie was 9 cents & popcorn was a dime. "CANADIAN PACIFIC" was one great movie.

Best Regards, George

I wasn't aware that he ever had an Apache? I remember he first had a UC-78, later replaced by a C-310. Is there another Songbird?
