Default Mr Dale Edmonds

Just talked with Dale and he asked me to inform everyone that as of today he is no longer in business. Wish him well. Gerald

I think he is alright just retiring. He said he was going to finish what he has but was not taking anymore. He said he could not find any help. Nobody wants to work the second shift. His words not mine.

I talked to him also last weekend and he said the same thing to me.
I just bought my first Damascus barreled Parker a week or so ago that had the barrels refinished by Dale and it was definitely a beautiful job.

Dale did many barrel sets for me. All were superb.

And now his retirement opens another void in the panoply of gentleman/craftsmen that has developed over the past few years. I hope there will be good men to replace them all.

Especially Dale Edmonds.

Yes, i spoke with Dale last night myself. He had previously expressed to me that he was starting to have difficulty with his process. And he had recommended me to find anither source for Damascus finshing. And i guess things have recently come to a head.

Dale's expertise and quality of work in this field will be missed.

His abilities will be missed for sure. He refinished a few sets of barrels for me in the past - the most striking was this set of Bernard barrels.
