I'm talking about a steady yearly deal. I'd think an event like that would have been a slam dunk in a big city like Chicago or NYC or LA. There was something called the Milwaukee Sportsmans show I've seen mention of that did go on a few years.

A surprisingly old one is the Michigan Duck Hunters Tournament, they've been running that for 75 years I believe next year.

Very interesting, I've never seen another mention of it or a piece of memorabilia either. And though not widely studies as you, I've certainly done a lot of looking in years past.

Robin: there are some images here of shooting from the roof in 1900 from Metropolitan Magazine
http://www.traphof.org/People-Storie...he-clouds.html

This is a rooftop view looking at the main entrance in the 20s by the cars?

This is 1914 and a steel screen was used shooting from the roof of the Grand Central Palace on Lexington & 47th

There have been four structures referred to as MSG. I Believe the first picture Dr. Drew shows was the one that followed the one built in 1890 (which house the 1895 show. That one was, in my mind, architecturally the nicest.

You are correct Edgar. That is the 1890 - 1925 building.
