Charlie, I know from experience that what gets you through these things is the right outlook---and you have it in spades. Listen to your body and you won't do anything foolish.

The doctor told Charlie to take it easy but it's been 10 days since his last post. Has any one had contact with him by phone or email recently? I think we all would like a status update.

I sent an email to Charlie's good wife today and she got right back to me. I told her that everybody has been worried and praying for his good health.

This is what she wrote back to me.

.Thank you all for wanting know to about Charlie. Charlie is doing much better and our plans are to go home today. He is so worried about his hunting, one doctor says "no" the other one, a hunter, said "sure, you can use a 22." He gave me a scare but the doctors with the help of the Lord has taken good care of him. I have thanked God every day he is still here. This had been going on for three weeks and he never did he say a word except "I'm tired." He is okay now. I'm sure one day this week you all will hear from him.
