Can't remove barrels...VH-12

Default Can't remove barrels...VH-12

I tried to release the cocking hook..no dice...Next step remove belly plate?? Any ideas? SXS Ohio

Yep! Fire it then remove the forearm & see if they come off. If they do you have some sort of issue with the un-hooking slide. Either some sort of crud or a rusty / broken defective spring.

That's what I've ended up doing a couple of times when I tried orphaned sets of barrels on a couple of my guns.

Are the stuck barrels original to the gun?

I have since learned to remove the cocking hook from the barrels whenever I try this stunt....
