GH 118172 at the range
Chris Dawe and I were chatting some time last summer and he told me about a GH he saw at a dealer that might be worth looking at. I am sorry I don't have the original pictures from the dealer but man did the gun look like a POS in the listing. He saw something in the wood and said "you ought to buy that gun" and have me refinish the wood, it has something hiding underneath all the grime, dirt and grease. Well I bought it and had it shipped direct to Chris so he could clean it up to its former glory. The wood was a MESS, butt plate broken, barrels needed some extra special love with a hammer/dent remover and the pattern brought out. "But the screws", the screws were all beauties!!! Case colour is nicely present on the sides and bottom. Its a 1 1/2 frame 30" with excellent shooting dimensions. It is hell on skeet targets but there must be something wrong, it will only break 19 of 25 into real small pieces.
FYI, Chris does not do damascus refinish I want you guys to know unless its for himself since he is still perfecting his technique, he did me a favour.....no favour here as you can see, they are fantastic!
I can not get a picture to load right to save my 4$$!
