Default two little does

this morning as i waited for the biscuits and coffee to get done i looked outside to look at the big frost and was i surprized.. a little fawn was slipping slowly threw the back yard then another fawn i looked for the mother but she never showed my guess the two little fellows have been left to fend for themseves as i suspect the mother has been taken by a hunter...in my backyard is one of those bradford pair tree..the pears are mostly still on the tree so these deer were having a good breakfast of pears and acorns as there is a large pin oak tree by the pear tree...my wife took several pictures of them maybe this evening she can post them for me...as i watched the these 2 deer i relized howforunate that i live out in the country to be able to see sights like this... charlie

seeing deer, or listening to a cock pheasant sound off when I step out with my morning coffee. great ways to start the day, even if we are not as completely rural as we would like to be here

enjoy the morning Charlie

Charlie every morning when I walk down the mountain to the mail box, I realize how great it is to be able to be where I am, turkeys, lots of deer and bear, and on that rare occasion a grouse will fly up, not many around here to many coyotes! Gary
