Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

The Parker Story arrived
Well my copy of TPS arrived today. I guess DGJ sent it by stage coach. Anyway, barely into it and am enjoying it greatly. I have a blemished set, though for the life of me I have not found any blemishes yet. I have read Best Guns, Parker: America's best shotgun, Gamefield Classics, and The Gun Review Book. I also have Muderlak's 1st book on the parker but as it arrived the same day as TPS, I will have to wait on it.
I don't yet know what will fascinate me more, reading the book or figuring out what makes the 2 vol set blemished....

They aren't "blemished". They are an honest effort for Mr. Cote to get into another price point without destroying the retail value of this wonderful book. It is hard to lower the retail price of an item and then raise it back up and maintain your market. Thank you to Mr. Cote for making it easy for us. The "blemished" back issues of the DGJ are in the same category. Take advantage.
