well this evening i had a nice big doe in my scope..she had 2 fawns with her they were kinda on the small side so i let them pass...they never got in range for the old eight i had it setting in the corner of the shooting house...some day maybe.... when i got home my wife said to call my grandson i did i had to go help drag out a big 10 point..16 inch spread and about 185 a very nice deer..will get pictures posted shortly... charlie

the grandson was very excited over this deer it is his biggest buck so far in his 19 years...the deer was taken on out property at about 75 yards..gun used was a 30-06 rem.with shot placement to the heart area...i must say my ego went up some too i really enjoy the young hunters takeing game...charlie

i agree i should spend more time with him.i helped him clean 8 ducks they got this morning all were woodys boy was the colors great on them..tommorrow we are going to hunt some land weve never hunted before..in fact i doubt if its had a foot print of a hunter on it in a while..maybe i will get lucky tagging along with him...charlie

was supposed to have a hunting pardner this evening but had to go alone the grandson had a free dinner to attend..i seen 3 does about 430 they were on the field grazing at abou 5.15 4 more deer came out one was on the large size but it was dark i could not get a good shot so i waited till black dark and eased down the ladder and went home.. i seen some good srapes early in the evening i will hunt them before long... charlie
