Default EASTERN PANHANDLE SXS CLASSIC

Guys
I would like to invite all my PGCA friends to attend our show on May 16-18th at Prospect Hall in Middleway WV. John Allgood and I are hosting a shoot and show to fill the void left behind in the Mid-Atlantic Region when the Vintagers moved to Rhode Island. I would love to see all my friends attend and think it will be the show to plan for every year. You are welcome to call with any questions anytime. The link is below.

thanks

We will be adding a single barrel trap competition open to the Big 4 (Parker,Fox,Smith and Ithaca). A 25 bird race from the back line with ties to shootoff for the "Grand Champion". This will be a spectator event in the old Vandalia tradition. Shooters will be required to wear Jacket and Trousers along with appropriate headwear (Flat or Cap). There will be a formal presentation of Trophy at the conclusion. This should be a great event and will provide a chance to put all these fabulous old single guns back to use.

Sounds like a great event. Sorry Chuck I'll have to miss it this year as I have to take my daughter for her college registration but I'll be there next year....

Chuck I'm looking forward to it. The list of vendors you mentioned was impressive to say the least.

FWIW I have shot at prospect Hall and its a great venue. I have it on good authority that the target prices will be restructured to make it more on a par with other venues.

There will be both hammer and hammerless events also.

Rich --We are going to reduce the shoot costs to 1.00 a target with exception of the main race as the prize is an Argentina dove shoot and if you have never experienced one of Col. Barons trips, it is one of a kind. This should keep costs in line with the other venues. Keep in mind we are paying back 1-3rd as prize money per class. This is not done at the other shoots and adds a bit of competition to our shoots. We will also present class winners with trophies.

Darryl
I assume a double trap would be fine as its allowed at the grand as long as 1 shell is loaded online at a time.

We are trying to start an event that will bring the old singles out of the closet and into their rightful roles.
Should be fun.

Yo Daryl, ya know there was a nice Fox SBT straight gripper hanging around the Parker tent at the Southern last year.

Chuck, name of the nearest large town near the venue? Thank you.
