Do they go BANG and break clays and kill birds consistently?

..... isn't that all that really matters?? .

Going to take enough 1 1/4 ounce 10’s for the events at Backwoods and enough 1 1/8 ounce for the same thing . I’ll start with the lighter load and should I loose confidence I’ll switch . But to answer your question if all I was worried about was breaking targets or killing feathered birds I’d shoot an O/U or an 11/87

You are clamping the base down prior to cutting, right? Thought I had it set exactly at 2 7/8" per my trusty Stanley tape, but..........

No I've been holding it down with my hand . I'm sure you set it correctly I just wanted them to match the RST hulls which may be a skoosh short . The RST's are 2.835" the ones I cut yesterday were 2.905" after my shim I'm getting 2.850" . All three work fine to be honest .

I might go over to the club tonight and try a round or two of skeet . Loaded 28 with the SP-10 wad , 19 with the BPI wad and cards then six more with the BPI wad and red beans as the only spacers .

Clamp it down. It will be much easier and will render a more consistent cut. Ask me how l know
