Hunting Hills Vintage Shoot
Beautiful weather greeted us last Saturday for the Vintage shoot at Hunting Hills. A far cry from 2 years ago when we shot in 20 degree temps with howling winds and snow. Our group was composed of Brett Hoops, Dick Trimmer from Columbus, and DR with his son DJ from Grove City, Pa, and myself. This was my first time to shoot since my heart surgery, and I was my typical mediocre self (slightly above, below average). I would describe all of us as hunters, who shoot occasionally, as opposed to others who are shooters who occasionally hunt.
1. Brett
2. DR
3. Brett
4.DR and son DJ

I look forward to this shoot all winter. Hunting Hills is one of my favorite courses, it's a beautiful layout with challenging targets. That and our host the Sisler's make everyone feel right at home. I am hoping Harold and I can make it to a few of their Wed. night steak shoots that start in June. We had the chance to shoot with a young fellow from the Hunting Hills Hawkeyes, by the name of Anderson to say he was impressive with his SxS 20 would be an understatement I think he shot a 45. I know he won the youth division. It's great to see places like Hunting Hills having these youth teams that are doing all they can to bring these young folks along.
