ARIZONA BLUE GROUSE HUNT
Hunted Blue Grouse last week in Arizona. As some of you know, these birds are very exciting to hunt and make great table fare. This hunt has become my favorite hunt of the year. Three birds were taken using a 126 year old PH grade 16 gauge. The ammo used are the low pressure shells made for and sold by William Larkin & Moore. The shells were loaded with #8 shot and worked great with very little recoil. The owner of the company who makes these shells told me that the velocity was a little under 1200 FPS.

That’s a nice looking PH and a fine looking dish!
