Was there any talk that they would be making barrels for frame sizes other than O frames?

Mr. Dwyer,
Thank you. I dont know how to do that fancy thank you and all.

You are right. I spoke to Mr. Wright at Simmons and they intend to tool up for several different frame sizes. They need a commentment of 5 per frame size (hammerless is obviously different than hammer) in order to proceed with manufacture in that size.

I am number two on a list for #1 frame hammer barrels.

Hopefully this will all work out in everyones best interest.

Thanks again,
John

Is it only frame size?

I would buy a #2 set but its would be for a very early lifter. Do you think its 5 per frame size or would it be 5 for #2 "check hook" and 5 for #2 "early style" and ... etc?

If its just the frame size, maybe I should get on the list for #2 frame; but I suspect they will run me off with an old lifter (ser # < 5000).

Mr. Lewis,

It appears to be frame size and action type. ie: #1 frame top lever, etc.
I am only assuming, and you know what happens when people assume.

Mr. Wright said it takes the cost of 5 sets for him to get tooled up and start producing.

I would like some help when they get to #7 frame hammer guns. I only need one or two sets. I might as well put the "For Sale" sign out front if Simmons follows through with this thing. It reminds me of the year I decided to spend a week at the loader reloading ounce and a quarter pigeon loads. At the end of the week, I realized I would have to sell the house to pay for that many pigeons. I'll never have to load those again.

Robin, Robin.... Think Teague. For that price Teague is the only thing that makes any sense for that wonderful Parker. If it were mine I would not hesitate - but it isn't mine so all I can do is harass you publicly.
