Very nice gun, Larry. Thanks for sharing the photos. Please post more pictures, esp. of the left side, and bottom of the action and the fore end. They are a real treat.

I wonder how long Greg has been waiting to use that line? Great work, Greg.

Another member owns a great C Grade World's Fair gun from the same era with egrets. Post your serial number and we'll compare it to the World's Fair gun list.

Well you sniffed me out Murphy. I wanted to hold on to that information until I was able to take better pictures, but this is too exciting to keep to ones self.

This is one of the three the Parker Story talks about being made for the the Columbian Exposition, the four hundredth anniversary celebration of the discovery of the new world, held in Chicago in 1893.

This is serial number 66201!

Wouldn't it be great to see all three together once again.

Larry,
Congratulations, that is a really great old Parker. When you click on the third pic a couple of times you can really see the wear on the checkering in the wrist area. It makes you wonder just how much shooting and handling it would take to wear walnut checkering almost flat? I've picked up too guns recently with similar checkering and think it adds so much character to the gun.

Fabulous A!!

An un-messed-with A of that vintage is the "Holy Grail" to many of us, and you've found one.

Larry, you need to order a letter on your beautiful gun. I am sure it has some neat history.
