I have the opportunity to buy an Iver Johnson Skeeter .410. I don't know a lot about them but this one trips my trigger. It has 26" barrels and a CSM choke tool shows (roughly) Mod/Mod. There are markings on the barrel flats that may be choke stamps but they don't make much sense to me. My question is does anyone here have a list of the Skeeter choke stamps and what they indicate? I'd sure appreciate any help.
Thanks much
Yes the stamps on the flats are choke indicators. I had a list of the Iver Johnson choke marks but tossed it when I stupidly sold my Skeeter. If you don't get the answer here on this thread, go to the doublegun forum and ask over there. I'm sure somebody there will have them. Mine was a two-barrel set (both 26") and had something like skeet/mod in one set and mod/full in the other set.
