Here are photos of a .405 double rifle that the same builder put over her on a Sauer action. This is his personal gun. I stocked it for him.

You built yours on a 12 gauge frame . Does Galazan use a 12 gauge frame as well or do they opt for a 20 gauge ?
Also are you going to try more modern say Hornady SST or Remington AccuTip factory sabot loads ? Ever since I saw the Galazan gun I've lusted for one myself to use on the Eastern Shore of Viginia and Maryand . But so far all I've got are bolt action fully rifled 12 and 20 gauge Savage guns . But I gotta say for the money the Savage 220 and my old Savage 210F are both very nice deer sluggers . But then I have Leupold Vari XII 3-9's on top both of them !

Brian did he machine the monoblock from scracth or did he cut off the barrels and use the rear portion for the monoblock. Its hard to tell from the photos.

If a fellow had say a 16 gauge Utica Fox Sterlingworth since it would more then likely have been made about 1930 or later . Would that be considered strong enough and big enough to make a 20 gauge rifled gun ?

The original 12g monoblock was used. Barrels were cut of in don't of the chambers.
I would assume that the CSMC is built on the 20g frame since they are making the barrels 100% from scratch. When the builder and I were talking about donor guns, he gently frowned upon using a fox, LC or NID. Not only because of it being single bolted, but due to the fact it is bolted through the rib extension.

Also if you don't mind saying what should I expect to pay to get a set of barrels made ? I can do the rust blue myself .
