question
was the plain steel barrel of parkers blued or browned....the gun i have witw these barrels appear to be blued..and i dont think they have been messed with but thats my opinion.... charlie

Depending on the year made and what "plain steel" you're referring to, to the best of my knowledge all fluid steel barrels were rust blued. Of course, back when they were made it was called "browning".
