Default Vintage Cup/ Pintail Point

We had a great time this past weekend.
But it just wasnt the atmosphere as in the past years. I missed not having my Parker brothern there. Just wasnt the same without the PGCA and all of you guys/ gals.

Pintail is a great venue and in a favorable geographical location for events.

Ben Wise and his staff threw some outstanding targets. He and his staff did an excellent job of running things and managing the shoot.

Several Parker shooters did very well in many events.
Carl Brandt took home several trophies.
Dave Fjelline did as well.
Edward Blake won the high junior trophy in the main event.

Mr. Cleveland,

We went up early Saturday am. We got a few drops on us that morning and then the rest of the weekend was clear and dry. We were very fortunate. Despite lower attendance, participation compared to years past it was a very enjoyable event.

I think the boys and ladies that were there Friday had to deal with alot of moisture.

Mr. Truitt you are very modest. I reviewed the score's and you sir shot very well also. Danny and I missed seeing you guy's but it sounds like a great time was had in spite of the rain. Congratulations to you all for representing the Parker Gun so well....well done. Also let me not forget to congratulate Young Ed Jr. on great shooting...a 70..very nice.

I believe the following to be accurate: (all shot with Parkers)
1. Carl Brandt:
Second place in Main Event
Runner Up in Prelim
16 ga hammerless Champion
2. Dave Fjelline:
First place in Main Event

3. Edward Blake:
High Junior in Main Event

Dr. Truitt's description of the situation is probably more accurate than the description given by those who had tables full of guns on display in the tents. As a shooter, I would have been quite pleased with the wet weather. You can only think about how unpleasant the conditions are for your competition.

Default Flurry Event

Dr. Truitt,
Did Parker Dave & Elsie Dan fare as well this year as last in the Flurry Event?
Thanks,
John

The real stars of the flurry were Dr. Truitt with Dave Fjelline loading for him. John shot 107 targets. Awesome. Second place was some distance back. At the end the guns were so hot a wet towel just sizzled.
