Default New Member from Georgia

Hello.

New Parker owner from Georgia saying hello.

I've owned a couple of Parkers over the years, but they were pretty common Trojans and they were traded off along the way.

Recently I stumbled into a 20ga VH with British Proofs and a 12ga GHE with an English Stock, single selective trigger and 30" factory Vent Rib barrels.

I look forward to researching these guns and figuring out the history.

Hey Don, Welcome!
You should join up as an annual PGCA member ($40) and order letters on your Parkers for only $40 each instead of the $100 each you’ll pay as a Forum Associate. And the other benefits like our quarterly glossy 50 page “newsletter” magazine alone is worth the price of admission. But there are waaay more benefits to membership.

Hi Dean,

I did join the $40 PGCA but I guess my info hasn't been updated yet.

I'm going to get a letter on the 2 guns. The vent rib GHE in particular I believe is pretty rare.

Welcome Don, where in Georgia are you? I'm in Ball Ground. Great gun you have there.

Hi Don, I'm down in South Georgia. Vienna. Great gun, looks like a probable clay crusher. I'm particularly fond of Parker 12 gauges with vent ribs.

Great quail country down there. Believe it or not I have 2 wild coveys on my farm near Monticello. Not many wild quail up here anymore. I'll definitely be carrying the Parker 20ga VH in future hunts.
