Default L.C. Smith Lamp

I have a chance to buy 3 L.C. Smith paperweights, actually they say Hunter Arms, as well as a lamp marked the same way. Is this stuff real? Did they ever make it? I know this should be asked on " another" board, but....
Would anyone know anything about these? Thanks much, Jerry

I believe Hunter Arms had a Factory devoted to making "Paperweights".........in Fulton as I remember.

Don't laugh - about 15 years ago I saw an AHE Damascus 12 that was ordered by a lumber baron from Maine. The floorplate scene was a sea otter, floating on his back in a mat of seaweed, cracking open a mussel for a snack. Now, THAT's unusual engraving!
