Default One ejector does not work..

So I just got my first Parker, a nice but well used VH 20ga 0 frame 26" barrels cut to 25". Somewhere along the line someone installed ejectors and a new splinter forend. My problem is only one ejector works. Any thoughts or ides? I Will be sending her to DelGrego after the season is over.

Thanks

I do plan on hunting with it even if she wont eject the left barrel.

Are the ejectors “someone installed” of the Parker Bros. design?

Pictures please?

Dean,
I uploaded a few photos, from all of my research they appear to be Parker.

Paul,
To receive some help on this you are going to have to be more specific. Are both ejector hammers cocking but left not tripping when fire? Is left not cocking? Is left cocking but prematurely trips so as only to "push" shell with no ejection? etc.

Bob,
I am going to try and answer to the best of my ability. I believe both are cocking and tripping. The right ejector works great, the left one not so much. When I have the forend off and trip them myself the right one has a lot of tension as is a bugger to reset. The left takes very little effort to reset.

a very weak or broken spring is all I can come up with. Lawrence DelGrego will quickly figure it out for you.
