From 10 down through .410 plus black powder paper and brass hulls. Throw in a myriad of metallic cartridge and there’s plenty to do. I avoid the loft when it’s too hot but cooler temps and I’m all over it.
![]() Just started using the Spolar again after a 12 + year hiatus. Even had it set up for the shells I want to make now. 12g 7/8oz with 16g Clays for 1160 FPS. Also have top plates for 20, 28 & .410 if I want production numbers. I spoke with Spolar last week and they may be able to set me up with a top plate for 12g that'll load 2 1/2" shells. If they can do that I may inquire about a 16g 2 1/2" top plate too. |

I currently use a PW for 12, 20, 28, and 410, and I'm waiting on 16 gauge dies.
it is easy to switch gauges and I like it allot. I of course have a Mec setup for 10 gauge 2 7/8 and also a Mec for 8 gauge. I would still like to try a Spolar, am I wrong in thinking the Spolar would be the Cadillac of shot shell reloaders Mike? Stan Hoover |

Daryl, I got the hull bin idea from Mike Smith. Thought he had a great set-up.
