Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Butt Plate Size Question
I finally pulled the trigger on a P grade 10 gauge with 28 inch barrels on a #3 frame that was in my price range. This site has been incredibly helpful. I had to fire the triggers in order to get the barrels off of the receiver (I never would have thought of this!). Fortunately I have other 10 gauges and have some fired hulls laying around.
In any case, there's some minor slot damage to some of the screws and a broken butt plate (the toe is snapped off). I may leave the screws alone or hammer them out later since most of the material seems to be there on most of them. I would like to replace the butt plate before I use the gun though. Am I correct in assuming I would need a #3 butt plate to fit this gun? The majority of what I am finding on eBay, Guns International, etc. are #0-2. I haven't seen a 3 yet and I'm wondering if that is because they don't exist or if they are scarcer than the others. Thank you!

Have you removed the broken butt plate to see the number on the back side of it?
Incidentally, on a hammerless Parker you can drop the "hammers" without the use of snap caps or old empties without fear of damaging anytghing.
