I like the description of "no repairs" then saying the comb has been replaced. Sure is a nice piece of wood... Maybe Dave Fuller should get it for cane rod reel seats...

Being a bamboo rod builder myself I actually thought about that as well but I have so much wood, cut off pieces being a stockmaker as well that I'd hate to cut up a stock for reel seat inserts. Thanks much, Jerry
